Usually whenever we went to people’s house or had guests over like after dinner the parents would have tea with crackers and the kids would have milk or some shit with the cookies. Those were the main bonding times between everyone. We’d all sit there and tell stories or play card games.
My family never spent time together so those get togethers were the rare times when I got to hang out with my parents. My parents were doctors so they were always busy. I'm very grateful for my parents' absence now because I know it was because they worked endlessly to make money for me and my brother's education in America.
